I work with busy, stressed women in their 40s and 50s who are struggling with energy and dealing with the first signs of ageing.
I help them to take back control of their health, rebalance their hormones and feel re-energised and confident in their body again.
Having worked for 20 years in corporate retail I know how difficult it is to juggle career and home life and follow a healthy lifestyle at the same time. I regularly spent 14 hours a day in the office, with a commute at each end. Breakfast was a frothy coffee and almond croissant; lunch, a hastily grabbed mayonnaise-laden sandwich, eaten at my desk, and more often than not, a bag of crisps or a chocolate bar to get me through the afternoon dip.
Finally at 9pm I’d squeeze in a glass or two of wine ‘to unwind’, before heading home to an equally unhealthy, and far-too-late dinner. Sound familiar?
And I used to pride myself on only ‘needing’ 5 or so hours sleep. Little did I know at the time that I was subjecting my body (and my hormones) to an eternal rollercoaster ride, fuelled by cortisol (the stress hormone), caffeine and sugar.
Thankfully (in hindsight) that ride came to an abrupt end and, after my very own ‘annus horribilis’, I decided to take some time out for me. Two yoga holidays and a heath retreat later and I began to understand the power of nutrition and the effect that my previous diet and lifestyle was having on me. That led me to enrol on a 3 year diploma course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine where I retrained as a Nutritional Therapist, and the rest, as they say, is history!

And I try to keep things real… working with me won’t involve fad diets and I usually won’t deny you the occasional glass of wine, square of (dark) chocolate or morning cup of coffee, unless I feel it is absolutely necessary.
